Professional Bio:

I began my career with the Cancer Center in 2002, overseeing the Familial Melanoma research project. This is when my passion for skin cancer prevention began. With a background in psychology and models of learning, becoming the health educator for the Skin Cancer Institute in 2006 was a perfect fit.

I've dedicated my career to skin cancer prevention and detection. I’ve educated patients at high risk for skin cancer in the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinics at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, overseen the development of all educational materials, and contributed to the creation of educational brochures, videos, and the Project SASS (Students Are Sun Safe) course curriculum. I also create and oversee all of our website information.
