Karen Hastings, MD, PhD

Dr. Hastings is an immunologist and dermatologist recruited to join the founding faculty of the UArizona College of Medicine – Phoenix in 2006. Previously, she taught immunology and dermatology to medical students and residents at Harvard Medical School and Yale University School of Medicine. She co-directs the immunology and skin cancer curriculum for the first- and second-year medical students at the College of Medicine – Phoenix. She also mentors medical and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in her laboratory and provides dermatologic clinical care at the Phoenix VA Health Care System.
